The surroundings of Valkenburg are nothing short of breath-taking.
The undulating landscape is well suited to many sports and recreational activities. Visitors can rent a bike to cycle some of the beautiful routes available. There are exceptionally good restaurants and caf? with an abundance of inviting terraces. If you prefer a trip over the border, Belgium, Germany and the 'drie landen punt' - the meeting point of the Dutch, Belgian and German borders - are close by.
